Hi, I’m Jon.

I’m running for Lehigh County Commissioner because I want to live in a sustainable Lehigh County that uplifts our neediest residents and puts people first.

I live in West Bethlehem with my wife, Allison, and my dog, Dingo. I work as a data manager for an education nonprofit. I used to work as a case manager at Whitehall Middle School, and before that, as the Teen Center Director for the Boys and Girls Club.

I’ve seen what happens when people need help and can’t get it. I’ve seen how people get punished for not having access to resources. And I know how to use data to make evidence-based decisions to build systems that work for the people who need them most.

Why I’m Running:

  • Lehigh County needs human and social services that keep people healthy, keep families together, help children grow, and most of all, services that are effective for working people.

  • Lehigh County has a responsibility to keep residents safe and healthy by addressing the root causes of poverty and pain. This means working to provide affordable and high quality housing, food, healthcare, clothing, internet access, and a living wage.

  • We cannot treat the land or the people of Lehigh County as disposable. I will push for evidence-based policies that are both economically and environmentally responsible.
